Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration

Presented by the Casey Family, Shaw’s General Store and The UPS Store

July 4, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Main Street Parade at Noon – Starting at the intersection of Main St. and Mountain Rd.
Main Street, Stowe Village and Mayo Fields

In partnership with the Town of Stowe, Stowe Vibrancy is very pleased to bring the 4th of July Parade to the Village of Stowe. Join us on Friday, July 4th for a full day of festivities –  food trucks, entertainment for the whole family, and live musical performances from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1 – 2 p.m. by Scott Forrest on the Village green.  Art on Park market summer series kicks off from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., featuring Vermont artists and artisan crafted products.

We invite you to be a participant in the Stowe 4th of July parade!  As always, you are welcome to build a float, drive a truck, walk, run, or dance down Main Street – the more creative the better. Reach out to our parade organizer Ashley Getty (ashley@ashleymanagementgrp.com) letting her know who you are (business, team, individual, etc.) and what your entry will be. Additionally, provide her with a short (25 words or less) script for our MC announcements.

At 11 a.m. the world’s shortest marathon will be held in honor of USMC First Lt. Ryan Casey. Grab your running shoes and lineup at the entrance to the Stowe Recreation Path to race for the golden sneakers! Then get ready to watch a fantastic lineup of floats from 12 – 1 p.m. At 6 p.m. head down to the Mayo Fields for one of Vermont’s best and largest displays of fireworks starting at dusk!

Shout out to American Flatbread for hosting the marathon finish line!
